 A hand tool is a tool that is worked with both motor and hand. Categories of hand tools include torque wrenches, pliers, cutters, files, striking tools, struck or hammered tools, screwdrivers, vises, clamps, drillers, nuts, bolts etc. Examples of Hand Tools Hand saws of various sizes chisels & gouges marking gauges screwdrivers pliers planes of assorted sizes and types, shaves, scrapers, etc. squares (try or a combination) micrometers (thank you, dead uncle, Jack,) hammers, mallets, sleds, axes, hatchets Drill braces, Breast drills paint scrapers, putty knives, palette knives, drywall knives.
